Will Cain succeed Neil Cavuto at Fox News

Fox News announced a series of programming changes Monday, led by the news that Will Cain will take over weekdays at 4 p.m. ET recently released by Neil Cavuto. (All times Eastern)

According to Fox, The Will Cain Show will debut on Tuesday, January 21, the day after President Donald Trumpthe inauguration. Cain plans to apply his podcast style to analyzing major current events and interviews with notable figures from the worlds of politics, business, culture and sports.

“Will Cain brings years of experience to 4 p.m. as an accomplished broadcaster and attorney,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement. “We look forward to adding his insights to what will undoubtedly be another historic news cycle coming this year.”

In his own statement, Cain said: “It has been an honor to wake up with America these past four years, and I am excited to bring my experience in news, law, entertainment and business to help our viewers better understand the headlines through thought-provoking content and analysis every weekday afternoon.

Fox News audio listeners and its digital audience will know The Will Cain Show because it was one of the most successful in the audio networkbroadcast Monday through Thursday at noon. Cain joined Fox News in 2020 and also served as co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend with Rachel Campos Duffy.

As of January 18, Fox News contributor Charlie injured will take over for Cain on Fox & Friends Weekend. Hurt is currently the opinion editor of the Washington Times and will relinquish that position upon the start of his new role.

Other programming changes will take place on January 18, including the expansion of The Big Weekend Show to two hours, broadcast from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Fox Report with Jon Scott will be moved to 3 p.m. and broadcast for two hours on both days. Fox News Live will continue to air Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon with a rotating replacement anchor until a permanent replacement is named. The Journal’s hour-long editorial report will be moved to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

On Fox Business, Dagen McDowell joins The Big Money Show, which also spans two hours from noon to 2 p.m. starting January 27. She joins the co-hosts Taylor Riggs, Jackie DeAngelisAnd Brian Brenberg.
