Sabrina Carpenter “Shakes That Ess” for Dunkin
When the 2024 hit shares a title with a product proposed by your company, a collaboration only makes sense. Dunkin finally gained momentum by teaming up with Sabrina Carpenter, the Grammy-nominated artist behind the pop hit “Espresso.”
The brand and the singer joined forces for the Dec. 31 launch of “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso,” a new drink backed by a campaign encouraging coffee drinkers to “Shake That Ess.”
The spot was created in partnership with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artist Equity and led by Dave Meyers.
It depicts the release party for “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso”, during which Carpenter reacts amusingly to “a group of eccentric characters, all shaking their butts enthusiastically”, with “Espresso” providing the soundtrack.
Dunkin noted that the shaking “reflects the actual know-how” behind preparing Carpenter’s signature drink. She will share more images from the campaign on her social media channels in the coming weeks.
The coffee chain is no stranger to beverages inspired by celebrity partnerships, including The Charlie and the Charli Cold Foam with Charli D’Amelio; frozen spiced Munchkins drink; and a special menu from the MasterChef candidate Nick DiGiovanni with blueberry donut iced coffee.
Dunkin described “Sabrina’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso” as “a limited-time handcrafted frozen drink combining Dunkin’s bold espresso, notes of brown sugar and oat milk, shaken to perfection.”
