Thursday November 28

Thanksgiving Day produces a rare weekday second-place finish for CNN in total daytime and primetime in total viewers and the A25-54 demo. Otherwise, during the holidays, all networks experienced viewership declines due to the addition of specials to the evening portion of their programming schedules. Fox News still managed to cross the million viewer mark in both time slots with the holiday editions of its regular programs. CNN broadcast a marathon of its Stanley Tucci travel series, while MSNBC aired several editions of My Generation. Both networks saw less than 200,000 total viewers in prime time.
