It’s not often that an article arrives in my inbox for a product I already use. JamDoughnut’s Cashback app is one of them.
I’ve been using JamDoughnut for a little over a year, after it was highly recommended by my MoneyMagpie colleague Izzy. I can say with full faith that it’s awesome, quick and so easy. It’s really very simple and based on a points system. When you are about to make a purchase (in-store or online), you can easily purchase vouchers of an exact amount and pay with them through the app. You will then recover up to 20% of your budget upon payment.
Where can I use it?
I was very lucky and was able to use my JamDoughnut app almost everywhere. I even got 8% back on my COSTA festive coffee last week. One of the real saving graces is that you can use them at the supermarket. And even though I haven’t done my Christmas shopping yet, I will 100% buy ALDI credit at checkout.
So, what does this cashback savings pot look like?
Well, not only was I able to get all the goodies I was looking for, but the JamDoughnut app also suggested a number of items I hadn’t even thought of, using the site’s recommendations that feature all the best offers for Christmas bargains. . The cashback pot now stands at £80: that’s £80 I wouldn’t have earned if I’d shopped without the app, and £80 I can now either save for New Year’s funds , or devote them to other gifts… I chose the old one!
