Houston reporter Courtney Fischer leaves local TV
Courtney Fischer left ABC-owned Houston station KTRK.
Fischer has worked at the station since August 2015 and was the station’s morning reporter.
Houston media blogger Mike McGuff said Fischer leaves local television for a position in Harris County. This comes a week after the morning anchor Jacob Rascon announced his departure.
Fischer is also the host and creator of the unsolved true crime series on Hulu. She also contributes to the station’s most infamous murder spree in Houston, Texas True Crime.
Before joining KTRK, Fischer worked at WTAE in Pittsburgh. She also worked for WLEX Lexington, Kentucky, and WEHT Evansville, Indiana.
