Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara serve in Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl 59 teaser

Freshly stole the show Beetle juice Beetle juiceactors Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara will once again be alongside each other for Michelob Ultra Super Bowl 59 campaign.

This time, the couple does not meet in the afterlife, but rather on a tennis court.

The Anheuser-Busch (AB InBev)-owned beer brand has released a teaser film, “Anticipation,” which features Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser and WNBA champion Sabrina Ionescu, as well as NFL legend Randy Moss, playing tennis.

Off the field, at the end of the 15-second clip, Dafoe and O’Hara toast what appears to be a victory over beers.

Although the duo is not seen in action on site, press photos show them priming their rackets in preparation for the playoffs.

The teaser marks the first installment of Michelob Ultra’s new brand platform, “Play For An Ultra,” which will highlight the joy of friendly competition.

The Big Game campaign will be broadcast nationally and will leverage recent work from the beer brand showcasing individuals who enjoy combining beer with an active lifestyle, which relied on ambassadors, including world football star Lionel Messi.

Michelob Ultra is steadily gaining ground over its sister brand Bud Light, particularly in the consumer market. In December, by data from the Draftline Technologies brand tracker, Michelob Ultra has surpassed Bud Light as America’s most popular draft beer.

With five spots promoting its brands, Budweiser’s parent company, AB InBev, take up three minutes of national advertising time and 45 seconds of regional slots during the game. Other brands on display will include Bud Light, Budweiser, Busch Light and Stella Artois.
