Join the Early Shift: Ali Vital will be the anchor of MSNBC’s morning show, Way Too Early, starting Monday, January 6. Jonathan Lemire, who joins Morning Joe’s 9 o’clock show in an expanded role as co-host. Also joining the anchor team early in the morning is Marc Lotter, who was named co-host of Newsmax’s Wake Up America alongside Sharla McBride. Climb the Beeb Ladder: BBC News’ Johnny McGuigan has been appointed editor-in-chief, growth and social, of the UK outlet. In this role, he will oversee the digital growth of BBC News at home and abroad, and lead interdisciplinary teams at the Beeb’s headquarters in Cardiff.
