Fox News turns turkey calendar into Christmas trees

The weather outside may have been horrendous before Thanksgiving, but the Fox News team sought to warm hearts with the network’s fifth annual lighting of America’s Christmas tree. Held the week before Turkey Day on Friday, November 22, the event took place outside of FNC’s headquarters in midtown Manhattan and featured a host of star talent from the chain.

The tree itself was lit by co-hosts of The Five, including Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, TyrusJudge Jeanine Pirro, Harold Ford Jr. And Jessica Tarlov. Many of their family members joined them, with the hosts introducing their children to each other and to viewers at home.

Singer Gavin DeGraw was on hand to provide the soundtrack for the celebrations.

Other special guests included Cardinal Timothy DolanRabbi Steve Bergand Rev. Jacques DeGraff.

Additionally, Pirro and his co-hosts took a moment to mourn FDNY EMS Lt. Anthony Cozzinodied of cancer in September. The 9/11 first responder is survived by his wife, Lori, and their three children, who were interviewed during the show.

If you missed the TV lighting, you can see the tree itself in Fox Square for the rest of December. And then you can head down the block to check out the ever-present tree game held each year at Rockefeller Center, home of NBC News.
